The brass used to make these pieces is a buttery yellow color that is similar to 14K gold. You can wear both brass and gold jewelry together and you almost can't tell the difference.
Will my skin turn green?
Depending on your skin pH balance, (which can change depending on medication, health and our emotions) brass jewelry has the potential to turn your skin green. However, if you continue to wear you brass jewelry, your body will adapt to the metal and will prevent the green discoloration from occurring. Keep wearing them, it'll just get better with time!
How to care for your brass jewelry:
- The more you wear your jewelry, the more bright and shinny it will be.
- Polish and clean brass jewelry using a polishing pad. Brass can also be polished and cleaned by placing it in ketchup and then rinsing with warm soapy water.
