Chiles are an agricultural product, and can change from harvest to harvest. This year’s crop seems to be hotter than last year’s. You’ve been warned!
Please note: We use only dried chile powder, and prefer not to add any artificial ingredients, so caking is natural. If the powder begins to cake or clump, it is still perfectly fine to eat—we recommend shaking the jar to loosen the powder.
Use in chilis, sauces, as a spicy paprika alternative, or simply leave a bowl out on the counter to use as inspiration hits.
