The Artist: Kathryn Herrman is a contemporary American craftsman of batik fabric, clothes, accessories and table linens. Her motifs and colors are inspired by horticultural, agricultural and geographical themes. Ms. Herman studied art at Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles, CA and has a BFA in textiles from California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, CA.
